"Warranty Period ●Toyokuni Products  In the event that there is a defect in the quality of materials or functionality of a Toyokuni knife, we guarantee repairs and exchanges for life. The scope of the warranty is limited to repairs and component replacement. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. If you use the knife inappropriately or for the wrong purpose, or the knife is damaged due to attempted customer repair, we cannot guarantee it. Please carefully read the precautions for use. In situations such as the product deteriorating from use or the handle becoming damaged, repair is still possible. (Fees apply) (Both outbound and inbound shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer) Even if the handle of a knife breaks that you received long ago from a special occasion such as a wedding, it can still be repaired. If you send a picture of the broken handle to our company via email or post, we can determine the possibility of repair as soon as possible. Please feel free to contact us at anytime. (info@toyokuni.info) ■Manufacturer Products The warranty period of manufacturer products is determined by each manufacturer. For details please refer to the product’s warranty. Furthermore, for information on imported products without an attached warranty, or OEM products, please see “Guarantee for manufacturer products not subject to warranty” section below. Repairs Repairs are conducted by each respective maker or authorized distributer. If the manufacturer has a customer support department, please contact them directly. In the case that there is no manufacturer warranty, we will repair the product for a fee."
